The Saugeen Country Tourism Association is a non-profit organization that was formed over twenty years ago by a group of enthusiastic volunteers who recognized the need to promote the Saugeen Country region and let others know what we have to offer.
Saugeen Country generally consists of the interior areas of Bruce County, Grey County and North Wellington. Our boundaries are somewhat dictated by the beautiful Saugeen River system and its' tributaries.
When you think of Saugeen Country this is what comes to mind: Scenic Nature, Beautiful Rivers and Lakes, Fishing, Canoing and Kayaking, Waterfalls, Golfing, Biking and Hiking, Camping, Artisans, Fall Fairs, Snowmobiling and Skiing – and best of all – the friendly, welcoming people in our many small towns and villages.
Our region is just a one to two hour drive from most areas in the Golden Horseshoe region of southern Ontario.
